Job Description:
• Software and algorithms development for control system management and maximizing solar field performance.
• Solar flame modeling.
• Command and control of tens of thousands of mirrors simultaneously and in varying weather and radiation conditions.
• Solution of complex problems in connection with the interface between the solar field and the solar boiler.
• Developing software systems for tracking and calibrating mirror movement with a deep understanding of the algorithms underlying the systems.
• Designing and developing software tools and simulators.
 
Education:
• B.Sc/ M.Sc in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical engineering from University, with average at least 85.
• Academic background in mathematics and/or physics – an advantage.

Position Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in a software development and algorithms team
• Requirements, design, development, testing and operation of software
• High-level software language (C++ preferred)
• Development in script languages (Python preferred)
• Ability to lead a development project from requirements through testing
• Ability to work independently, while providing accurate reporting
• Good communication with others
• Able to receive a task and execute it independently
• Flexible thinker and problem-solver
• Able to learn new material independently
• Responsible, understand new things quickly, work under pressure
• High level English
