Business Analyst Position

The Good Food Institute (GFI) is at the forefront of the Alternative Protein movement to harness the power of food innovation and markets to solve some of the world’s biggest problems, from climate change and global hunger to antibiotic resistance and the exploitation of billions of farm animals annually.
How You Will Make a Difference: In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our work engaging with business leaders, entrepreneurs and government agencies and with the food and ag-tech ecosystem by conducting research, preparing reports and presentations and coordinating meetings and events.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for:

Creating and maintaining business tools as annual industry reports , market research and databases to accelerate the alternative protein sector. Providing analytical support to the Business and Policy managers, by conducting research, analysing data and presenting it in a clear concise manner, coordinating and prepping for meetings, preparing reports and presentations in areas of policy and business engagement.

Supporting initiatives and events related to corporates, startups, investors, policy makers and government organizations, and the alternative protein community.

Executing any other roles or responsibilities as communicated by the Business Manager and performing other duties as assigned
The Business Analyst must have:

A Bachelor's degree in economics/business/other relevant degree (MBA or equivalent experience preferred).

At least one year of directly relevant experience, preferably in a business or economic consulting position.

Demonstrated passion and interest in the business and/or entrepreneurship and/or alternative protein industry.

Experience in research and data analysis, writing reports and preparing presentations. High proficiency in excel, powerpoint, word and Gsuite. Familiarity with salesforce and asana a plus.

Exceptional research and analysis skills in both English and Hebrew.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and use sound judgment in decision making, including setting and managing priorities and meeting competing deadlines.

Strong support for GFI’s philosophy and ability to professionally advocate for GFI’s positions. Demonstrated past interest in public health, environmentalism, animal protection, or hunger relief.
Terms of Employment: Full Time
Location: remote, 2-3 meetings a week in Tel Aviv or Rehovot area (post-covid)
