Job Description

Primary purpose and function of this position

To take a major role in the efforts to develop and improve expression vectors and mammalian cell lines producing recombinant proteins, mainly antibodies

Major duties and responsibilities

To develop and produce mammalian expression cassettes
To develop recombinant cell lines expressing target proteins
To execute experiments using molecular and cell culture methodologies, within time constraints, while following adequate documentation practices
To be on top of relevant technologies in the field of mammalian proteins expression, to evaluate novel technologies and to introduce them to the relevant processes
To write scientific documents: protocols, reports and SOPs, according to industry practices
To communicate and collaborate with other functions and individuals at the biosimilar development team, and with other TEVA units
To summarize and present activities, progress and achievements in various forums including management
 

Qualifications
Ph.D in life sciences/biotechnology

Experience at the relevant fields with at least 4 years in the biopharmaceuticals industry

Knowledge/Skills Requirements

Extensive experience and knowledge in molecular and mammalian cell culture methods
Basic knowledge in GLP/GMP guidelines
Good team work capabilities
Hebrew- fluent, English- reading and writing
